Natalie Forester, owner & author, aspires to bring an honest approach to topics such as yoga, social-emotional health, parenthood, mindful living, and an overall feeling of wellness - whatever that means from day to day. Effort & Ease began as a side project during grad school and transformed into a place for Natalie to share blips of her life. Natalie intends to inspire others to seek balance between putting in effort and finding a sense of ease, both on the yoga mat and in the real world.

Natalie resides in Marquette, MI and lives with her husband and busy one year old. She's currently a stay-at-home mama and spends her days keeping up with what it means to 'keep house' and keep a toddler happy, loving every minute of it and drinking all the coffee. She's got her Master's Degree in Social Work and six years of combined experience working in children's mental health. She's been teaching yoga for 8 years and practicing for almost 15. She credits yoga for allowing her to feel home in her body, regulate her emotions, and be present with life as it unfolds.
