Introducing SLOW BURN: Winter's Favorite Yoga

WHY:

Because yoga is about helping the mind and body respond to and evolve with the seasons. Because it's nice to get to know your yoga practice on different levels. Because in my own practice, I'm still craving a strong flow but really wanting to pull back the reigns on moving at a fast pace. Because it's winter and practicing yoga in a warm & toasty room rules. Because it's nice to have variety as a student and as a teacher (teacher = always student). Because a slow and strong practice is the perfect time to experience the true essence of effort and ease.

WHAT:

A 60 minute hatha based flow designed to warm up the body with deep yogic breathing, intentional movement, and total body awareness. Being in the pose physically and in your mind's space. No rush, no where to be. Strong and fluid. A class where you'll have time to really practice your ujjayi breathing and totally experience the small anatomical shifts in every pose that help us continually learn, grow, and evolve in our physical practice. Friendly to all levels. Challenging in some way to all levels (a good thing).

WARM UP TO YOURSELF THIS WINTER.
